ALSA LC Unsri
The forerunner of ALSA LC Unsri began when there’s a realization of ideas on the importance of recognizing and understanding the differences in legal systems between ASEAN countries. Then, in 1999, the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sriwijaya (Unsri) was invited to attend the ASEAN-level ALSA Regional Conference which was held at the University of Indonesia (UI) Jakarta, Indonesia. The Unsri party sent Dr. Mada Apriandi Zuhir S.H., M.CL, and Dr. Meria Utama, S.H., LLM to attend the conference, as well as the initiators of the establishment of ALSA LC Unsri. On March 21st, 2001, in the VIII ALSA National Deliberation at Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) Bandung, Universitas Sriwijaya was officially appointed as an Indonesian local committee. Over time, ALSA is in great demand by law students and has a large number of high-quality members and alumni.

Hello, ALSA-ians!
Welcome to the official website of ALSA Local Chapter Universitas Sriwijaya. ALSA is an Asian-scale law student organization that has 16 national chapters from all around Asia. In Indonesia, ALSA has 15 local chapters and ALSA LC Unsri is one of the local chapters which has been established for more than 22 years. ALSA has four pillars that represent the whole values of ALSA itself, which are Internationally Minded, Socially Responsible, Academically Committed, and Legally Skilled. Those pillars are connected within the human resources of ALSA and we implemented that through our work programs.
This website provides information regarding ALSA LC Unsri’s work programs, history of ALSA, ALSA LC Unsri board, and former boards, and resources that y’all can download through this website. Not only that, this website also provides a work program namely “ALSA Legal Aid”, you can feel free to ask your concerns regarding the current legal issue and the academic team will help you by answering a resolution as well.
